Account Verification
We check who every player is before money moves, so our casino stays safe and legal. This page explains what we check, why we do it and what to expect along the way.
1. Why we verify
Our process follows Canadian rules on age verification, identity checks and anti-money laundering, and players can join only where gambling is legal locally. Verification lets us:
- Keep anyone under 19 off the site.
- Stop fraud, stolen cards and account takeovers.
- Prevent our casino from being used to hide criminal money.
- Pay your winnings to the right person.
2. Identity and age checks
Your first top-up comes after we verify your ID and the place you live. Most of the time an electronic data check is enough. If that check can't confirm it all, we may ask you for documents, for example:
- Government-issued photo identification: a valid, clearly readable document, such as your passport or driver's licence.
- Proof of where you live: a recent bank or utility statement, from the last few months, with your complete name and current residential address.
- Proof you own the payment method: an image of the card itself, front side up, with the middle numbers masked, or a screen capture of the e-wallet account you use to pay.
Upload clear colour copies with all four corners visible. We let you know by email once your documents have been checked.
3. Record keeping and reporting duties
- We store your ID details and transaction history for the full period Canadian law requires.
- We file reports with the proper Canadian authorities when activity looks suspicious or when the law requires a report.
- We may be legally prevented from informing you that a report exists.
How We Handle Your Data explains how we protect this information.
4. Ongoing monitoring
Our checks continue after you register. We monitor activity on your account, looking for patterns such as:
- Deposits that are withdrawn again with very little play.
- Payment methods in names other than the account holder's.
- Sudden, large jumps in deposits.
- Logins from places where we do not accept players.
If something looks unusual, we may pause activity and contact you by email.
5. Sanctions lists and politically exposed persons
- Each player is screened against sanctions lists at sign-up, and the screening continues from then on.
- Politically exposed persons are part of our checks too. That means anyone holding a senior public post now, or who held one before, plus their relatives and close associates.
- A match does not automatically block play. Instead, it triggers further checks, and a senior team member must approve before the account can continue.
- We cannot open or keep accounts for people on sanctions lists.
6. Source of funds
When your deposits are large or do not match your normal play, we ask where the money came from. Useful documents include:
- Recent pay slips or employment income records.
- Bank statements showing the money arriving.
- Paperwork for an investment payout, a property sale or an inheritance.
7. When verification cannot be completed
- Withdrawals stay on hold until checks are finished.
- Deposits and play may be paused.
- If documents are not sent, or cannot be confirmed, we may restrict or shut the account.
- Where the law permits, we send funds back to the original payment method.
- Forged or altered documents lead to account closure and may be reported.
