19+ Policy
Innisfil Casino is for players 19 years and older, and we never make exceptions. This page covers how we check age and the steps parents and families can take to keep young people away from gambling.
1. 19+ only
- No one younger than 19 is permitted to register, fund an account or place bets.
- Canadian rules on age verification, identity checks and anti-money-laundering shape everything we do, and we only welcome players where gambling is legal locally.
- We direct all of our advertising at adults and never target young people.
- An account holder must never let anyone else use their account, and that includes young family members.
2. How we check age
- When you sign up, your date of birth is part of the details you give us.
- Before your first deposit, we use electronic data checks to confirm your age and identity.
- If those checks are not enough, we request identity documents. Our Account Verification page lists them.
- We also confirm your location before any deposit.
- We may repeat age verification whenever needed, for example if account activity suggests a young person is playing.
3. If a minor is found
The moment we learn that a person younger than 19 opened or played on an account, we act:
- The account is shut immediately.
- Every wager is cancelled and the player loses all winnings.
- Where local law allows it, any deposits you made are paid back to the method you used.
- If an adult lets a minor access their account, the adult's account may also be closed.
- We check for any linked accounts and act on those too.
4. Shared devices and protecting minors
In many homes, several people share one phone, tablet or laptop. Some easy everyday habits help keep real-money games out of young people's reach:
- Log out of Innisfil Casino after every session.
- Turn off password saving and automatic login filling in your browser.
- Give each person in the family their own user profile.
- Keep e-wallet passwords and payment cards in a place children cannot get to.
- Never share your account details with anyone.
5. Parental controls and filtering tools
Families can add extra protection with tools that block gambling content:
- Gamban / GamBlock: blocking software that stops gambling sites from loading on a device.
- Built-in device settings: most phones, tablets and computers offer parental controls that limit apps, purchases and websites.
- Home network filters: a lot of routers let you block entire categories of websites on every device that uses your home connection.
- Open conversations: talk with young people about how gambling works. GameSense offers plain information that can help.
